Koa Fung Chew, PPA, PBS, founder and Managing Director of Polygraph Investigative Services, is a retired Superintendent of Police with the Singapore Police Force with more than 33 years of wide-ranging experience in criminal and security investigations, and interrogation, both as a specialist as well as in various managerial positions, including Chief Polygraph Examiner in the Ministry of Home Affairs. A certified polygraph examiner and polygraph instructor, he received his polygraph training at the American Institute of Polygraph Technology and Forensic Psychophysiology at Michigan, USA and the Israel Polygraph Institute. Ret Supt Koa was the first Singaporean to be trained in the polygraph.

   Ret. Supt Koa has over 33 years of international polygraph experience in the government and private sectors in polygraph-assisted criminal and security investigation testing, job applicant background screening, and employee honesty and loyalty screening. With his proven track record, his polygraph expertise is well sought after by government agencies, large companies and the legal fraternity. He is an American Polygraph Association (APA) Certified Primary Instructor and the Assistant Director at the American Institute of Polygraph Technology and Forensic Psychophysiology, Michigan, USA. He is the current Vice President (Private) of the Singapore Association of Polygraphers and a member of the British & European Polygraph Association..

   During his more than 32-year career with the Singapore Police Force, he received numerous awards for outstanding work, including the Public Administration Medal (Bronze), Minister of Home Affairs Commendation Certificate for work excellence, Good Service Medal, and Commissioner of Police Commendation and High Commendation Certificates.
